Needham Pansy Day is April 8th!

• Needham History Center and Museum’s annual Pansy Day celebration will be on April 8, 2023.
For about four decades, it has been a Needham tradition. The Needham History Center and Museum kicks off the season with an early sign of spring: Pansy Day. Aside from it being one of the organization’s fundraisers, Pansy Day is a very appropriate reason to celebrate Needham. The Giant Swiss Pansy tracks its roots back to one of Needham’s most notable families, and it has grown to be a symbol for many aspects of the community. We have a preview of this weekend’s event, and tell you the story behind it.
