Needham’s Art in Bloom this Weekend

• Needham’s Art in Bloom returns to in person this year. Members of multiple garden clubs in Needham will interpret student artwork using flowers. The free exhibit will be on Saturday, March 11 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday, March 12 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Needham Free Public Library.

Ever since humans first expressed themselves creatively, nature has been a strong influence in art. Well this weekend, you can see how art is influencing nature when the Beth Shalom Garden Club presents “Art in Bloom”. Inspired by an Art in Bloom project at the MFA, Needham’s version pairs members of garden clubs with artwork by Needham High School students. Kathryn Brodie has a preview of this year’s exhibit.
