“Needham Creates” debuts on the Needham Channel
The Needham Channel has expanded its arts and entertainment coverage with a new show – Needham Creates, created by Kathryn Brodie. Needham Creates will feature all kinds of creative individuals in Needham. From painters to poets, Kathryn will share it all! The first episode made it’s debut just last week. The Needham Channel hopes that the program will help spotlight the individuals who either live in Needham, work in Needham or perform in Needham, bringing their creative energy and thoughtful messages to the fore. You may watch the pilot episode below, and read on for a description of the featured artists.
Welcome to the first episode of Needham Creates, the show where we take you behind the curtain, through the galleries and into the studios of Needham’s artists. This episode will first feature clay artist Steven Branfman and show his hands-on approach to creating decorative vessels. Next we’ll take you into the home of watercolor painter Nancy Walton where she shares with us some of her current work. Lastly, we’ll spend some time with Hilary Hanson Bruel, an encaustic painter who shows us the unique form of painting with wax.
