Forum on Disposal Displays RTS Features
It has been a busy couple of years down at the Needham Recycling and Transfer Station. New initiatives are afoot, and the rules keep changing in terms of what is disposable, what is recyclable, and how to get rid of your trash responsibly. Recently a forum was held at the Needham Public Library. A collaboration between the Needham DPW and Green Needham, the event featured speakers from all aspects of the town’s disposal services. The video is available for viewing below:
Featured Speakers:

Greg Cooper •
Director, Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection
Greg Williams • Agri-Cycle Energy
Jen Tuttleman • Nutritional Services, Needham Public Schools
Paul Degnan • General Manager, Casella Recycling
Michael Greis • Green Needham
An excellent summary of the event is also available on the Green Needham website, along with the presentation slides from the speakers.
